A few weeks ago I had the privilege of photographing Jalen, a senior graduating from Brentwood High School. He wanted this session to focus more on himself and his personality, but also capture a few football images to document his time playing in high school. And, that’s just what we did!
After taking a few shots at the Brentwood High School football field, we headed off for the next location. When we pulled up in the back alley of an off street, Jalen’s mom told me he had asked “how did she find a spot like this?” It means so much to me when a client trusts me telling them to go somewhere that looks ‘unphotographable’ to capture a great image…and boy did we!
If only Jalen wasn’t so hard to photograph! *sarcasm alert*
I’m thankful to work with such a nice, respectful, and funny young man and know that he will be going very far in the future – if not with football, maybe modeling?
